Hi There!
I’m Pete Ferris, a professional photographer based in the Tulsa metro area. I photograph a wide range of subjects—both on assignment and for personal projects—with a clean, elegant, and timeless aesthetic.
Whether you need food or product photography for a menu or website, corporate headshots (yes, LinkedIn matters), senior portraits, maternity sessions, milestone occasions, or corporate events, I’m happy to help. I’ve lived in the Tulsa area for more than 20 years and genuinely enjoy serving this community with professional, dependable photography.
Making Time for What Matters
Life gets busy. Between work, school, and activities, it’s easy to put off scheduling portraits or updating that professional headshot. The trouble is, when you don’t make the time, the years slip by—children grow up, milestones pass, and moments are gone.
I offer digital files as well as beautiful prints and specialty items such as calendars, mugs, key rings, and magnets—so your images don’t just live on a hard drive that might crash tomorrow.
What Clients Say
Here’s what one repeat client shared:
“Pete’s photography is always a lifesaver for us—whether maternity or toddler pictures. He’s great with our family, open to new and creative ideas, knows fantastic locations, and is wonderful with little ones who don’t always want their picture taken. Pete is the best and always there when we need a camera and a little imagination. 11/10 stars!”

Experience You Can Trust
These days, photography can be practiced by anyone with a smartphone—but it’s mastered by few. When it comes to once-in-a-lifetime moments, you often get only one chance to get it right. That’s why experience, training, and consistency matter.
I’ve been involved in photography for over 30 years and continue to invest in ongoing education. Technology and techniques evolve constantly, and staying current is part of being a true professional.
My advice is simple: think carefully before trusting important moments to a friend, relative, or someone who recently declared themselves a “professional” on social media. Casual snapshots are fine for a picnic—but milestones like graduations, maternity sessions, engagements, and major events deserve to be done right.
My Creative Philosophy
I don’t chase photography trends—in fact, I usually avoid them. The first person to do something is creative; the rest are copies. It comes down to a simple question: do you want original work, or something that looks like it came off a Xerox machine?
No judgment—just transparency about how I work.
Inspiration
My photography inspirations include Ken Lee, Mike Cooper, Troy Pavia, Dina Litovsky, Joe Edelman,Thorsten von Overgaard and the late ever-inspiring Bryan Peterson. Outside of photography, Edward Hopper remains my favorite American artist.
